Eric Mills and Scott Pastoor’s Qunicy-Richard LLC expanded their Classic Country “Jethro-FM” into Kalamazoo MI earlier this month.
The brand launched in December 2018 on 1530 WYGR Wyoming/W235BN Grand Rapids and added a second translator on 99.5 W258DF Lowell in February 2019. The group then purchased Oldies/Standards 980 WAKV Otsego adding that signal to the brand in February 2021 and launching 98.9 W255DF Otsego in October. As of July 1, the group began operating Kalamazoo Broadcasting Company’s 105.1 W286AU Kalamazoo and having it rebroadcast WAKV. The translator had been rebroadcasting Christian Preaching 1440 WKPR.
