“That Damn Show” has come to an end at Audacy Rock “98 Rock” 98.5 KRXQ Sacramento as the station has cut ties with hosts Stroke Mastro and Mikey Muscatello.
Mastro joined KRXQ to host afternoons in June 2017 after spending thirteen years at Magic Broadcasting’s “97X” WYYX Panama City FL where he rose from evening host to PD/morning host. He was paired on “That Damn Show” with Muscatello, who was moved up from nights, and Ian Massengale, who came with Mastro from WYYX and was let go in Audacy’s companywide layoffs in August.
Muscatello was on his second stint at KRXQ as he returned in 2015 as evening host after previously hosting nights from 2007 to 2011. Muscatello has also worked on-air for WXTM Cleveland and as Imaging Director for WAAF Boston and SiriusXM. He also does imaging voiceover for stations across the country.
No word right now on the status of producer/co-host Lara Nelson.
