Alpha Media Country “98.7 The Bull” KUPL Portland has rolled out a new on-air lineup.
While the Bobby Bones Show remains in mornings, changes have been made in all other dayparts. APD Danny Dwyer moves from afternoons to middays. The syndicated “B-Dub Radio” hosted by Bryan ‘B-Dub’ Washington, is added for afternoons. Washington is also APD/afternoon host at Hubbard’s “98.9 The Bull” KNUC Seattle and previously served as APD/MD/night host at KUPL in the early 2010s. Also returning to the station from that timeframe is fellow former APD Mark ‘Tik Tak’ Allen to track nights. Allen also is hear in evenings at KNUC.
With the additions, midday host Jake Byron will move to weekends from 2-7pm. Byron returned to KUPL in October 2021 after previously spending sixteen years with the station from 2004 to April 2020. Evening host Cassidy Quinn departs after seven years with the station. During her tenure in Portland, Quinn also served as an anchor and host at KGW-TV and hosts a mental health podcast.
In addition to KUPL, Skyview Networks’ “B-Dub Radio” has also been added at Alpha’s “Bay Country 94.5/92.1” KBAY/KDDV San Jose and 103.5 KYSM Mankato MN, Renda Broadcasting’s “99.9 Gator Country” WGNE Jacksonville, New South Radio’s “US 96.3” WUSJ Jackson and “97 OKK” WOKK Meridian MS, and Media One Group’s “My Country 101.9” WHUG Jamestown NY.
B-Dub Radio, through its syndication partner, Skyview Networks, announces the expansion of the show’s reach with eight new stations joining its affiliate roster. The addition marks nearly 100 station relationships for B-Dub Radio across six nights a week, with the newest DMA markets being:
