Positioning as “Asheville’s Christmas Station”, the station takes the place in the market previously filled by Audacy’s “Magic 98.9” WSPA-FM. That station’s move from the Class C 98.9 Spartanburg allocation to the Greenville/Spartanburg focused Class C3 on 106.3 in March removed its coverage in the Asheville market.
