94.9 The Bull’s Moote, Kimmie & Otis Comes To An End

The Country shake-ups at iHeartMedia continue with the cancellation of the “Moote, Kimmie & Otis” morning show at “94.9 The Bull” WUBL Atlanta.

Brian Moote and Kimmie Caruba have exited the station, while Otis Maher will supposedly remain with the station in a role to-be-announced.

Moote joined WUBL for the launch of the show in May 2022. He previously co-hosted mornings at “Click 98.9” KLCK Seattle, the syndicated Bert Show at Cumulus’ “Q99.7” WWWQ Atlanta from 2016 to 2018, “97.1 Amp Radio” KAMP Los Angeles from 2018-19, and “99.5 The Wolf” KPLX Dallas from 2020-22. He is also a touring stand-up comedian.

Caruba began her career at Syracuse University’s “Z89” WJPZ and has previously worked on-air at WNTQ Syracuse, middays at WXXX Burlington VT, a dual role as midday host at CHR “Live 101.5” KALV-FM and night host at Country 107.9 KMLE Phoenix, nights at WUSN Chicago, and morning co-host at “102.7 Da Bomb” KDDB Honolulu.

Maher originally joined WUBL in February 2017 as Music Director and afternoon host until November 2020 before returning to that role in November 2021. He has also served as Program Director at CHR 99.7 WDJX Louisville, APD/MD at “Kiss 95.1” WNKS Charlotte NC and on-air at WBNQ Bloomington IL, WNDV-FM South Bend, WNOW-FM Indianapolis and WZEE Madison.

Sources indicate that Premiere Networks’ “Bobby Bones Show” will rise from its delayed evening clearance to move up to mornings in Atlanta.
