Shaun Tilley steps back from SA Radio Live and returns to Heritage Chart Radio

Shaun Tilley is back at Heritage Chart Radio as Consultant Programme Controller as he leaves the community radio station in Tircoed.
Whilst he still owns SA Radio Live Limited, Shaun tells RadioToday he’s agreed a deal with the former Radio Tircoed management team to take over operations of the new station.
Now, in his new role working with Mike Read at Heritage Chart Radio, Shaun will be working closely with the brand to develop its programming strategy, content and production across the station and on the weekly syndicated Heritage Chart Show.
Commenting on the appointment, station founder Mike Read says: “I’ve worked with Shaun so many times over the years and nobody has more passion for radio than him.
“He brings a wealth of experience from his days with the BBC, Gold, Magic and Radio Luxembourg to name just a few.
“It’s a real statement of intent from us as he’ll be able to support our presenters and oversee high end production values to compliment the incredible new music we play from heritage artists.”
Speaking about his new role, Shaun says: “Mike and I have been talking about me becoming more involved in Heritage Chart Radio these last couple of months. But I feel it’s now the right time for me to join the team and help us reach our true potential.
“The station is a unique and exciting platform for much loved acts still at the very top of their game.”
Shaun will also be on-air weekdays at 10am.
