FCC Report 11/26: KIRT Loses License Over Failing To Pay Regulatory Fees

License Cancellations
The FCC has revoked the license of Bravo Broadcasting Company’s Spanish Christian 1580 KIRT Mission TX for failure to pay delinquent regulatory fees.

KIRT was issued an Order to Pay or to Show Cause in March opening a license revocation proceeding against the station for failure to pay delinquent regulatory fees and associated interest, administrative costs, and penalties owed from 2012 and 2015 through 2022. The order required the station to respond within sixty days, which it failed to do, nor has it paid the $36,165.23 plus interest that it is still required to pay.

FCC Actions
Boulder Creek Recreation & Park District’s 89.3 KBCZ Boulder Creek CA has entered a consent decree with the FCC for failing to maintain its online public file and granted its license renewal.
