FCC Report 9/18: What Gets Reimbursed For A Forced Signal Change?

FCC Actions
The FCC has ordered Entravision to pay Prescott Valley Broadcasting Company $10,815 within 20 days to reimburse costs related to the forced move of AC “106.7 The Mix” KPPV Prescott Valley AZ to 106.9 in order to allow the move of Entravision’s 107.1 KVVA-FM Sun Lakes to the South Mountain tower farm in Phoenix and shift of 106.9 KDVA Buckeye to 106.7. The order notes that PVBC failed to meet the burden of proof for the costs associated with additional items, but many of the marketing materials for the station will need to be compensated for by Entravision once they have proper invoices and not just quotes.
