103 Jamz & 92.1 The Beat Norfolk Make Lineup Changes

Two iHeartMedia stations in Norfolk VA have made on-air lineup changes.

Hip Hop “103 Jamz” adds KQBT Houston’s Ashlee Young to the daily lineup for middays from 10am to 2pm. Young is also heard in middays on iHeart’s Hip Hop stations in Atlanta, Jacksonville, and New Orleans. Her addition sees Program Director ‘DJ Fountz’ move from middays to afternoons as ‘DJ Bee’ has exited in the ongoing staff reductions. DJ Bee had been with the cluster for 25 years and previously hosted mornings and nights at WOWI and has mixed at WXYV Baltimore, WBTJ Richmond and SiriusXM. He also owns a local record store and webcaster in Norfolk.

Bee’s exit also affected Classic Hip Hop “92.1 The Beat” WHBT-FM Moyock NC where his midday shift has been given to cluster Promotions Director Randi White. White joined iHeartMedia Norfolk in April. She previously worked for the company in Salisbury MD and Harrisonburg VA from 2005 to 2012.
